Do you have enough space in your HDD? You should have around 8-10GBs free.

Sounds like you might not have the complete set of .rar files.

    Well of course...?

If you don't have all of the .rars then it will not extract. It's like missing the piece in a puzzle.

yes make sure you have all the .rar or whatever files and make sure they are all in the same folder. Just open one up and drag the files over. make sure you have enough space on the drive as the games are pretty big.

If you have all the files and are still getting the error one of the files you have is corrupt. See if the error message tells yo or if the file had an sfv file with it you can run an sfv file checker to determine what file(s) are corrupt. If not your going to have to work it out and watch the numbers go by while it extracts ;) .. thats usually a last resort

    hope this helps

typically .rar files or a compressed file comes with .par files, those are basically like doctors. if one .rar is ban then the .par doctors will all put their heads together to fix the broken .rar files. if there is too much damage the .par files will not be able to fix the corrupt .rar files. however, typically then can. if you have those .par files you need a program called quickpar (google it) install it, and it will ask you some experienced user questions, dont worry about it just click ok and you are good to go. then find the .par files in the same folder that you downloaded the .rar files to. double click on one of the .par files and it will automatically start repairing itself. if it dosnt automatically start repairing itself just click the button that says repair. usually it will take anywhere from 2 - 10 minutes depening on how corrupt the .rar files are. after it is complete it will say wether or not the repair succeded underneeth the percent complete bar. if the repair succeded, then continue to extract the .rar files as you normally would. even if there is a missing .rar file, as long as there are enough other .rar files it will rebuild the missing one out of scratch. it is a very useful program, and now-a-days you almost cant live without it. i dont know if torrents come with .par files, but i know typically the .rar files you download from torrents tend to be corrupt where-as the newsgroups tend to almost alyways be complete. I am a newsgroups suscriber and I typically have to use it once out of every 10 downloads. I am assuming this is what your problem is, if not sorry for such the long post, but this might someone else who is having this problem.

if you get several great results you can try bumping it up to 4x and it should be stable at that speed as well, just make sure you are getting good quality burns at 2.4x before you attempt that though
  14. Oh ok thanks. Imma try it and let yall know what happens. Im just waiting for my Dvd+r dl disk to come in the mail.
